Meditating upon the vastness
of the land
given an enlightened peek
into God’s precious hand
The snow covered mountains
filled with ice and snow
lay in the background
to the beautiful valley below
The lake illuminated
an image of the life above
so much wonder
conceived from love
Sun appears through
the clouds that surround
morning has come
wildlife is abound
Absorbed in the moment
becoming one in this spot
feeling one with the land
in the coolness but not the hot
There is a raindrop
breaking the spell
enlightened by continuing life
knowing that all is well
