Walking along the beach
waves rolling on my feet
gathering a few treasures
trying to beat the heat
The waves bring in the shells
in an organized manner
the colors are so bright
many make a banner
Gathering these treasures
a collage to make
treasures telling a story
a journey they must take
God gave them a purpose
as homes for ocean life
protection from the storms
a haven from strife
Now these wonderful treasures
designed to show how they lived
providing a collage of stories
a wonderful thing to give

Thank you. I like to make chains out of shells. We are currently trying to sell our house so everything is in boxes and packed away. I will resume making things after our move. Have a wonderful day!
