Sun on the river
promise of a new day
commit to nurturing our souls
in a peaceful way
Beauty surrounds us
the sounds of nature around
lifting our spirits
by leaps and bounds
Silently meditating
taking God’s world in
rejoicing in His glory
a thrill to the soul within
Committing to become one
feeling that God is near
with peace and serenity
listening with each ear
We are reminded
as our souls are renewed
to love one another
on each day anew
We leave nature nourished
the day is at hand
spreading kindness to all
throughout this great land
