Removed from the city

lies a remote meadow

filled with mystery

about a disappearing fellow

Legend has it

was a calm summer day

when a vortex formed

taking him away

A fluke occurred

allowing him to remodel life

a world filled with music and dancing

there is no strife

This world has music notes

floating on clouds

in sync with emotions

some of it quite loud

Beings of this land

dance to various beats

in tune with the heart

passionate with heat

The fellow began

to yearn for home

searching his heart

for the lover he left alone

A beautiful maiden

calls his name in song

ballads of the love they share

all night long

Vortex closing

wind carrying the fellow away

back to the meadow

where his heart chose to stay
