26 the Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace.”’..
Wandering along the river
coming to the water falls
my spirit is troubled
the weight of it all
How to take care of things
can I survive
turmoil around me
wanting to thrive
Spirit like the water
tumbling over the cliff
sweat running down my brow
needing a lift
Suddenly in the sparkles
the Lord turned his face near me
calmness in my spirit
assurance that I am free
Weight of the world lifted
an encompassing peace
water slows to a ripple
spirit is released
Basking in the sunlight
water tickles my toes
the Lord is with me
no more woes
Content and at peace
bathed in the Light
resting on a rock
present and future are bright
Father
May you always be with us in times of trouble and grant us peace.
Amen
