Stepping into the unknown

can barely whisper

no map or instructions

not even a picture

How will I know

what there is to be done

needing guidance

for I am the only one

Hearing the Lord’s voice

telling me not to be discouraged

the issue is in front of you

and with it courage

Taking a step

heeding the call

there is no fear now

the Lord has commanded it all

Mission accomplished

time to go home

following the Lord

am never alone

Living for the Lord

not walking in sight but by faith

taking things one moment at a time

knowing my spirit is safe
