Giving thanks this morning
for the privilege of seeing him fly
soaring in the wind
it’s his ally
Wings spread
flying through a cloud
expressing adoration for creation
song is quite loud
Confessing the truth
of how freedom feels
riding a breeze into the mountains
has a thrilling appeal
Over a river
seeing a fish
diving down quickly
a delicious dish
On top of a tree
there is a nest
the magnificent creature lands
basking in the sun to rest
What a thrill
to have the ability to fly
soaring across the land
in the beautiful sky

I have a great desire to see an eagle’s shadow, some day… I heard a song about that once, and it had a huge effect on me.
