Out of the ashes
a new spirit grew
burned in the fire
time to renew
The danger had come
brought to His knees
swore He was defeated
the demons all agreed
The morning came
from the ashes He arose
gaining strength
in the sunlight He began to glow
His enemies trembled
having never seen such love
death has been defeated
a gift from above
Now a King
spreading the Word
darkness has been defeated
the Light has been heard
Grace is given
shared with all who will hear
never again encompassed in darkness
the victory is clear
