at a frenetic pace

deluged with information

repeating the paper chase

From one continent

to another

thinking success

was ignoring my brother

One fateful night

having gotten lost in the shuffle

the time keepers on the wall

my spirit was ruffled

Leaving it all

for a simpler life

choosing the time zone

with less strife

All clocks are gone

there is no longer time

becoming one with the land

not missing the chimes

Happy and content

my spirit is at ease

knowing where I belong

floating in the breeze
