The forest awakens
as I offer morning prayer
a cauldron of gratitude
in the cool crisp air
Thankful for the new day
filled with cosmopolitan creatures
all are unique
each has distinct features
The plants are
showcasing colorful leaves
expressing feelings
gratitude perceived
Sun filtering
through the trees
gateway into this world
time appears to freeze
Meditation over
starting the day
a calming place
to work and play
