Happiness in the Mist

In the midst of deep forest

all worries are castoff

walking along the path

encountering a trough

Together we drink

the wildlife and me

cool water

enjoying harmony

Our homes are modular

unique to each of us

providing comfort

without a fuss

Silence is broken

as birds and crickets sing

sun burns off the midst

stream begins to gleam

A beautiful home

grateful to share

serenity around me

surrounded by those who care
