High above the ground

in a hot air balloon

freedom to move about

there is so much room

The sky is clear

cool air invisible to me

patterns on the ground

calm as can be

The landscape changes

variables at every turn

from desert to mountains

so much to learn

Floating along

a mist fills the air

suddenly its raining

beauty without care

Coming down

caught up in a cloud

a sudden roar

the thunder is loud

Beginning to land

one last look around

calmness has taken over

sunshine has been found

Walking away

into the sunset

floating in the sky
