Mother is the Earth

Father is time

universe is bursting

life is sublime

 

So many theories

of how it all began

particles of dust

creating many places to land

 

Infinite universe

filled with time and space

comets, meteorites, and planets

compete in a race

 

From the moon

man look so small

like tiny ants

climbing up a wall

 

Father time passes

as our imagination soars

creating stories 

of how stars roar

 

Fifty years ago

man walked on the moon

Father time granted a gift

not a moment too soon

 

Constellations call

as man continues to explore

one day all questions will be answered

about the universe we adore
