It is good to be a rube
connecting with the land
there is much knowledge
at the touch of a hand
There are plants
grown in abundant supply
the basis for medicine
simple to apply
There is wisdom
for all who seek
God’s creation is good
as well as unique
Nature is part of us
where our needs are met
learning to live together
is a wonderful bet
Technology comes and goes
but nature continues to remain
being a rube is a gift
with so much to gain
Meditation over
enjoying all gifts from within
my soul is renewed
simple life is a win
