Glancing off the ship

admiring the beaches

world coming full circle

seemingly out of reach

 

More alike than different

surveying the land

people enjoying the beach

somewhere there is a band

 

Surrounded now

by other people on the ship

it is no coincidence

everyone is hip

 

Staying focused now

it is time to leave

our planet is so beautiful

there is a slight breeze

 

Keeping my wits about me

watching the coastal birds fly

ship turning toward home

it’s slowly becoming nigh
