The leaf felt irrelevant
having fallen off the tree
feeling insignificant
nothing to see
God spoke to the leaf
saying you are my creation
nothing is irrelevant
everything has an expectation
In the spring
young and green
a renewal of life
a promise to be seen
Summer comes
lush and new
collecting sun and water
beautiful to view
Autumn comes
spreading your color everywhere
a beautiful portrait
till the tree is bare
In the winter
returning to the ground
nourishing the land
to which you are bound
All of creation is relevant
part of the grand plan
connected to each other
loving the land
