There is a morning fog that
covers the mountain top
after a cold fall rain
causing many leaves to drop
As the sun begins to shine
burning the fog away
many colors emerge
on this wonderful day
The birds and crickets
begin to sing
pleasant harmony
as a train bell rings
The colors are bright
yellow, orange, and red hues
my soul is nourished
observing the beautiful view
I am one with nature
on this cool fall afternoon
basking in the colors
my soul is in tune
My soul is refreshed
the fogginess is lifted
a crisp fall day
a full life being gifted
