The shanty was hot
on this summer day
a cool breeze was blowing
as the girls left and went on their way
Bored with
little to do
one saw a cemetery
with a spirit that said boo
Welcome to my home
come and have some fun
the girls were curious
so, they began to run
Then the tittle tattle began
creating stories at each tombstone
each more exotic
the farther back they roamed
Then madness took control
as one became possessed
flying in the air
there was no rest
Frightened the girls
began to pray
shouting at the spirit
it could not stay
Running towards the entrance
the spirit let the girl go
standing in the street
a wild wind started to blow
Shaking but safe
there was an echo in the wind
laughter from the spirits
the veil was thin
Rain cleansed the girls
relieved to be alone
the experience was erased
as they made their way home
