Flying through the air
transformation complete
wind flowing in my wings
searching for nectar to eat
Once encapsulated
deep in leafy shell
darkness surrounding me
a version of hell
Is this life
where is love and joy
attached to a limb
an earthly toy
One sunny day
the emergence began
illuminating light
a large wing span
Riding the wind
so much to explore and see
the chains are gone
I am free
