The ubiquitous Sol
reigns over the Roman sky
a god with mighty powers
whose wrath causes offenders to die
In an effort
to control his power
a topical discussion was held
and lasted for over an hour
Calling upon the moon
which cooled the night
a lover for Sol
causing some fright
Loved ones that have passed
become stars to serve the moon
shining over Rome
help may come soon
The lovers meet
on the days of eclipse
sharing sweet kisses
on a seasonal lips
As seasons pass
the heat turns to cold
a passionate love affair
with tales of old
The chase continues
till this very day
an eternal love affair
that will never part ways
