A vicissitude of fortune
created the transformation
a hellacious event
that boggles the imagination
Being neither prepared
nor excited
attached myself to a leaf
waiting for the uninvited
Life has been so simple
and complete
meandering around
easily with all these feet
Taking a nap
transformation has begun
there is no pain
no feelings to run
Upon awakening
realizing new things
seeing bright colors
now I have wings
Trying them out
drinking some sweet nectar
riding the wind
the view is spectacular
Complete freedom
a new life begins
filled with joy
while riding the wind
