The fiery vortex

drew my soul in

so much turmoil

will it end

Running away

from all held dear

such insecurity

there is much fear

Outside forces

trying to take control

pulling me into the fire

hell without parole

Being pulled back

water spouting at the fire

love surrounding me

throwing out the liar

Letting go of the fear

seeing the deception

serenity returning

a loving reception

The journey continues

spirit filled with love and grace

the fire vortex disappears

the lies have been displaced
