With a sense of foreboding
looking into the sky
a tree appears
leaves are their ally
Having been bamboozled
to come to this sight
promised a treat
a fruitful delight
Coming closer
is a huge squirrel
squealing out loud
tail beginning to twirl
Grabbing a peach
the squirrel climbs down
others join him
playing like clowns
Hearing sounds
the squirrels speed off
having claimed their prize
a dramatic blast off
Back in safety
there is pure joy
a sweet delight
leaving the pit as a toy
