In the marathon of life
a deep scarlet mist surrounds me
a challenge to my soul
sustaining is the key
Temptations abound
which way to choose
the mist may envelop me
spirit to lose
Mistakes made
lessons learned
moving forward
heart yearns
Living boldly
daring to love
blessings now
gifts from above
Crossing the finish line
spirit rejoicing
mist is lifting
others are joining
After a rest
time to start again
another mist is forming
love is the way to win
