Reaching into a surreal world

searching for the shag wig

the colorful bush holds many things

treasures within the twigs

First pulling out a screw

from a project long past

setting it aside

wondering how long it will last

Next came a bone

buried by the dog

throwing in the yard

oops, hit a frog

Finding my shag wig

an interesting site

the color washed out

now muddy with some white

Washing it out

placing it on my head

family is laughing

at how far it spreads

Walking away

it’s a great new look

suddenly a bird grabs it

an efficient crook

Back in the house

recovering from the ordeal

grateful for the ordinary

bald head is now ideal
