walking along the ocean’s edge

hoping to find a perfect sea biscuit

on a sandbar ledge

There is a lottery of shells

each wave bringing in a new batch

so much fun searching

some difficult to catch

As the sun set

deciding to search in one more wave

a perfect sea biscuit appeared

captured in a net to save

Back in my workshop

the artistry began

carefully choosing paints

dynamic and grand

Finished now

a beautiful work of sea art

sharing the piece with the world

a shell that caught my heart
