The operation began
when he was a older puppy
having become complacent
now quite chubby
To start a new habit
we began to walk everyday
bouncing in the waves
exercising while he played
A small treat
a reward for each pound lost
the toys began to gather
totally worth the cost
Now living with joy each day
the operation is a success
both of us are thinner
enjoying the process
