Blossoms shoot forth
an introduction to spring
the moratorium to awaken has ended
the birds begin to sing
Warmth embracing the land
wildlife ending its slumber
a time of renewal
flowers increasing in number
The streams begin to flow
meager at first
the sun melting the ice
water beginning to burst
A forest filled with trees
pastel colors abound
small promises of fruit
beauty all around
The sky is blue
not a cloud to be seen
nothing is awry
the sun is beaming
The world is awake
spring has arrived
my soul jumps for joy
happy to be alive
