Looking into the sky
the dome came down
searching for answers
no one around
Enclosed in a world
with no birds and bees
the sights and smells were awful
so much death to see
The separation
the horror of being alone
someone help me
the feeling of a drone
Finding a lake
getting into a boat
storms and waves surround me
fear of being smote
Suddenly comes a voice
that calms the storm
He gets into the boat with me
my spirit is now warm
The dome lifts
my faith is restored
birds and bees return
I was never ignored
Living in the light
gone are the disguises
the storm has passed
a new day arises

That’s how I feel on my “dark days.” I search for the Light. Beautiful poem.
Thank you. Have a wonderful day!
