Mother Earth

so beautiful and alive

filled with mountains and valleys

adventures to survive

 

Her resources are abundant

trees upon the land

across great continents

anchored by sea and sand

 

Creatures upon the land

some used for food and cloth

others for observation

giving lessons without much thought

 

Rocks and plants

so many varieties to discover

forming many sculpures

for a nature lover

 

Nourishment of the spirit

for many cultures on the planet

each element has meaning

drawing the soul in like a magnet

 

Made from the dust

Mother Earth is our home

sustaining life

we are never alone
