Vastness of the ocean

blue water everywhere

a dolphin jumps up

taking in the air

 

The sky above

blue filled with puffy clouds

birds riding on the wind

singing voices loud

 

An interesting color

part of the rainbow

associated with coolness

after the wind and rain blow

 

Extending beauty

where this color appears

uplifting moods

giving good cheer

 

Bluegrass music is heard

as banjos play and guitars strum

dancing in the moonlight

cups filled with rum

 

Blue is 

so many things

even a sad mood

can make the heart sing

 

High above the Earth

the color blue shows

brightening the universe

as the sunlight grows
