Outside the old house

an old man stands

recanting his life

from where it began

 

Deep inside the womb

an universe to explore

safe from danger

no need to know more

 

Forced out 

time to move ahead

a journey to continue

nothing to dread

 

Hardship comes

along with laughter and tears

danger lurks around the corner

there is some fear

 

Living life to the fullest

the old man does a life dance

living in the moment

giving this universe a chance

 

Through the years

the house grows old

now an old man

eternity takes hold

 

The spirit leaves

moving on to the next place

taking the love it gained

to the new place
