Walking along
the path of life
an age old question
does cash buy happiness or strife
With or without
each brings challenges
knowledge of the world
can bring life into balance
Too much indulgence
one does not appreciate the journey
boredom comes easily
much time spent with an attorney
Too little cash
the struggle is clear
food, clothing, and housing
attempting to hold on to what’s dear
Too much or too little
subtle changes can make life richer
appreciating small things
become a giver
There is knowledge to be gained
living within our means
the grass is not always greener
whether wealthy or lean
Balance is having enough
cashing in on all things
accepting the journey
and all the joys it brings
