Come closer

I will give you a ride

across the mighty river

always by your side

trust my eyes looking strong

charisma in my voice

nothing can go wrong

look at the sparkling sea

there is joy in riding

so much to see

 

Come closer

feel the wind on my back

adventure is waiting

fun it will not lack

 

Inching closer

ready to take the bait

oh so enticing

hard to wait

 

Almost there

iching to get on

running eagerly

the urge is strong

 

Suddenly a hidden hand

pulls me back

preventing arrival

extremely exact

 

Moving into the water

the creature disappears

saved from deception

grace is clear
