Music flows through my soul
on this Sunday afternoon
painting the sky
from an outdoor room
Reaching out to life
after being a ghost for a year
emotions flowing through me
an occasional tear
Clouds taking on shapes
some holding a bit of rain
waiting to let go
and release all pain
Blue in the distance
but for now, colors of orange and yellow
skating across the sky
mood beginning to mellow
As the music flows
birds begin to sing
adding them to the sky
with expansive wings
Flying high above
spirit begins to soar
a day with beauty
joy opens the door
