The day is long

sanity hanging on by a thread

to many things happening

there is much dread

Project not finished

feelings are hurt

it appears the world ended

falling into the dirt

Night falls

dreams are nightmares

will the morning come

does it dare

Out of the ashes

the sun did rise

apologies are made

did not die

Driven to action

making a new plan

this time it works

results are grand

Lesson learned

each day to begin anew

a smile upon my face

my spirit grew
