Sensitive to time

safe and secure in my cocoon

a mild mannered spirit

waiting to bloom

The world outside is frightening

there are challenges to face

how to survive

will there be grace

Getting closer now

my time has come

water is broken

time to run

Cleansed through the creek

the cord is broken

a small cry emerges

an expressive token

Feeling emotions now

with extreme passions

love and hate

will learn compassion

Living life to the fullest

learning from all things around

an exciting world

grace is abound

In times of trouble

from the chaos and ashes

growth in my spirit

from this life’s classes

Experiencing love

in all its unique forms

in the fullness of life

keeps my heart warm

Returning to the soil

feeling a slight shiver

surrounded by love

cleansed in the river

In eternity now

opportunities to grow

the journey continues

in the great unknown
