Deep in the ground
a tiny seed sleeps
compact and safe
with a promise to keep
The winter wind blows
covering the land with snow
the small seed waits
for the sun to glow
Melting comes
there is a thaw across the land
the tiny seed awakens
an alarm sounding band
Like the sun rising
growth begins
expansion and blooms
an imaginative grin
Bees buzz
spreading its nectar
in the fullness of life
the show is spectacular
Renewal in the spring
to growth in the summer
new seeds emerge from the flower
into the ground for the winter slumber
Life is precious
harmonious in the cycle
a testament to wonder
beauty in revival
