The time will come
I will go away
hopefully at my funeral
people will say
She was kind
spread many smiles
helped people in need
went the extra mile
Wiped tears away
took the time to listen
gave encouragement
watched tired eyes glisten
Found joy
in each aspect of life
walked in faith
even in times of strife
Spread love to all
no matter the situation
let a glimmer of light shine
a form of communication
Loved God
a faithful servant
spread light to others
was observant
When I am gone
let there be no tears
only love and laughter
celebrating the years
