A world without music
is a deception
there are notes around us
with perfect reception
Perhaps it’s a solo
in the form of a chirp
sounds weaved together
a fine piece of work
Or maybe sitting by
a river flowing
rapids reap notes
with mists that are blowing
Then there is the heart
with feelings of a love
weaving music together
in the symbol of a dove
The soul dances
to the beat of thunder’s drums
lightening is the musical staff
while the rain hums
Music aids in
the stream of life
dancing in joy
conquering all strife
