Philippians 4:7 NIV.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding , will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Peace in the valley
such a wonderful thought
seems like such a long way
from what life has taught
The world around us
so full of strife
pulls at our hearts
taking all pleasures from life
Picking ourselves up
filling each morning with prayer
God’s love surrounding us
healing each layer
Christ Jesus sacrificed all
so that we might have life
our hearts and minds are healed
in Heaven there is no strife
Father,
Thank you for the peace that surpasses all understanding. May we always look to your son Christ Jesus so we may have life.
