Peregrinating in the mountains
enjoying the fresh crisp air
grasping the concept of abundance
and the life we share
The lavish sunrise colors
that fill the sky
reflecting on the morning dew
candy for the eye
A river that flows
a place to kayak
the thrill of riding the rapids
sunshine on my back
An abundance of food
fish, nuts, and berries
a matter of choice
the taste is extraordinary
Resting on a rock
a squirrel is a meter away
happily jumping between trees
as its tail continues to sway
At the end of the day
as the sun sets
a warm bed to sleep in
beautiful dreams as I rest
