as fish make their way

capturing bugs in the sky

creating designs

candy for the eye

the fish appear as one

dancing in harmony

following the river run

The ripple is quick

disappearing in the wind

some geese have spotted them

from the river rim

Diving deep

into the river mud

some escape to safety

in a water flowers bud

Another ripple begins

as the fish gather anew

dancing happily again

capturing bugs in the morning dew
