Tears flow

power in each drop

expressing many emotions

difficult to stop

Tears of joy

expressing life events

weddings and births

heaven sent

Tears of pain

separation and death

does time heal

before the last breath

Tears with laughter

after a joke

words or actions

with mild mannered folk

Such power

expressed in a tear

power to heal

and to calm fear

Tears flow

allowed to drift

wonderfully made

a graceful gift
