Lollygagging on a morning walk
admiring the beach
there is austere simplicity
serenity is within reach
The sound of the waves
relaxing my brain
mist from the water
cool after a morning rain
Sun filtering through
there is a glare
sitting on a rock
breathing in salty air
Wading in the water
small fish tickle my toes
tossing a shell
throwing away all woes
Walking along
observing dolphins play
happiness envelops me
another beautiful day
