Heat and humidity
have set in
season of thick air
causing patience to be thin
To conquer the moody blues
I grab some pop corn
orange zest on top
combined with butter is the norm
Feet in a flowing fountain
fan blowing toward my face
watching a movie
drama with a race
Rain pours down
with the sound of thunder
cool air lifts my mood
as the movie villain blunders
Movie ends
hero has won the day
sun shining in my heart
mood is no longer gray
Feeling relaxed
there is a night time breeze
cool and comfortable
breathing with ease
