One day working in the garden
I felt a bee sting
strong and powerful
forming a ring
Feeling dizzy
calling for help
hand is swollen
with a huge whelp
Through the venom
I experienced strange sensations
saw the beauty in a bee’s life
a part of creation
Using a dancing style
to craft a flower’s bloom
spreading pollen to all
sitting in elegant rooms
The craft is inborn
pollinating a creative art
weaving between the flowers
expressive from the start
Filling the hive with honey
another gift
food for themselves and others
a sweet lift
An epi pen was brought
I came back to life
appreciating my vision
the future of nature is bright

How lovely to be given an insight. Beautiful verse Debbie. Thanks for the inclusion
Thank you. Bees are beautiful especially from a healthy distance. My pleasure. Thanks for reading. Have a wonderful day!
Oh that must’ve hurt. But you saw a lovely vision in the bargain.
Yes, it was painful. My hand swelled to the size of a baseball. The vision was lovely though and I have a healthy respect for bees. Thanks for reading. Have a wonderful day!
You too my friend
To have that kind of insight while in pain is admirable. Lovely verse.
Thank you. Thanks for reading. Have a wonderful day!
Nice verse. BTW – whelp has a different meaning.
Thank you. I didn’t realize whelp had a different meaning. In my family any redness or swelling from a sting has always been called a whelp. Thanks for reading. Have a wonderful day!
