Doodling on a flimsy pad
reflecting upon decisions made
honesty with myself
a high price has been paid
Making the decision
to embrace kindness and joy
letting go of anger and resentment
using life as a discarded toy
Expressing gratitude
meditating in nature
seeing a bird in a nest
admiring their labor
Helping with a need
listening to an issue
having sympathy for someone
handing them a tissue
Giving faith a fighting chance
dancing in the rain
standing beside the ocean
there is so much to gain
Seeing a silver lining
willing to take a chance
there is joy in my spirit
as I dance
