A Wind Dance

Silver bug

graceful as can be

dancing with dignity

what a sight to see

 

Purple flowers

wind dancing with the bug

a beautiful partnership

comfortable as a hug

 

Each move is directed

synchronized with the wind

a colorful combination

dreaming until the end

 

The story continues

 the bug dances around

moving along flower partners

as the wind switches sound

 

The bug flies away

as the dance comes to an end

on to the next flower

flowing with the wind

A Sunset Scene

Beautiful sunset

oozing pink, yellow, and gold

cloudy in a moment

a sunset to behold

 

The pink is vibrant

forming different shapes

like happy angels

wonderful on this date

 

Then comes yellow

a few streaks in the sky

adding contrast

pleasing to the eye

 

An outline of gold

hovering above the trees

the skyline presents a portrait

a wonder to be seen

 

The darkness falls

overtaking the sky

the moon has risen

day has become nigh

 

Wishing on a star

oozing with tranquility

my soul is resting

in complete serenity
