Weather is varied
in the month of June
muggy this night
sweating under the moon
Plans derailed
attempting to slumber
bugs attack me
increasing in number
Moving to the porch
thankful for the screens
able to see a few stars
feeling serene
A burst of thunder
followed by lightening in the sky
rain falling in buckets
relief in the night
A cool wind blows
now asleep
magical dreams encompass me
for my spirit to keep
